To efficiently lead the Field Maintenance team to ensure that all targets are achieved in a safe, timely and cost effective manner. Promote and uphold The Ok Tedi Charter and encourage the appropriate work attitudes and teamwork within the Maintenance Crews. Ensure that all equipment is maintained to statutory and legislative requirements while being environmentally responsible

Coordinate the teams driving a positive workplace culture. Mentor & lead the crews; provide direction to ensure availability of the equipment. Coordinate the weekly plan to ensure work is managed effectively and crewed correctly between areas. Maintain crew capacity levels. Assist in recruiting when required.

Supervise the team driving a positive workplace culture and be a direct supervisor to the Shovels & Drills Maintenance Crew. Lead the crew; provide direction to ensure availability of the equipment required by the customer.

Execute weekly maintenance schedule to ensure all maintenance activities are prioritized and managed effectively. Has the authority to prioritized jobs.

Epiroc Drills Smart Roc D65 , PV271 RCS

Undertake maintenance work and statutory inspections of allocated mobile fleet in the given time scheduled. Be competent in using all equipment and tools. Complete work and communicate any issues to the Supervisor if deadlines cannot be met.

Participate in apprenticeship training and development.

• Trained workers in proper methods, equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Inspected equipment and tools used for safe operation.
• Directed projects according to schedule and quality demands.

• Trained maintenance technicians to apply proper techniques and best practices and comply with safety protocols.
• Planned scheduled maintenance outages as part of preventive maintenance program.

Supervise safely daily maintenance of RH200 FS , RH120 BH, RH170 BH , Ingersolrand DM45, DML60, DMLSP60 & Smart Roc D65 Drills.

Focus on equipment reliability and availability .

Carrying out strip reports / rebuild and top overhauls on KTA38 C , KTA19 , QSK19 Cummins engines , Insite 6 diagnostic fault findings.

Carrying out scheduled PM services and attending unscheduled breakdowns. on RH200 FS , RH120 BH,RH170 BH , Ingersolrand DM45,DML60, DMLSP60 & Smart Roc D65.

Assembling and maintenance of the Tunnel Boring Machine ( TBM ) .

Locomotive operator.

Provide extensive Cummins OEM support for customers in the Pacific region , commercial, mining, logging,shipping,transport and Power Generation.
