  • Inspect switches and terminals for loose worn connections and damage.
  • While open, activate the E-stop Batons to view the contacts operating.
  • Ensure enclosure/ cover is closed after inspections.
  • Ensure all screws are in place, gaskets are in place, in good condition.
  • 4. APRON FORWARD DRIVE MOTOR INSPECTION TEST SVCE
  • Assume that all cable and terminal are live until the correct isolations as be proven by testing of DEAD on all potential live components. Test all supply and control terminals.
  • Check the power system in the local control system for loose connections, heat, and damage
  • Replace hot junction and damage suspected component
  • Check for water in grease and dry if necessary
  • Check cable entries and ensure the glands are tight in it the gland plate and the glands are tied around the cable
  • Repair as necessary
  • Check the function of start and stop batons
  • Check the door lock and replace the damaged component
