PERSONAL PROFILE STATEMENT A motivated, adaptable and responsible Civil Engineer seeking advisory and consultative positions which will utilise the professional and technical skills developed through the past work experiences in the field of design, supervision and management of various projects in construction and maintenance. I have a methodical, customer-focused approach to work and a strong drive to see things through completion. In my current job, I coordinate and manage multi-million projects under the PNG Government Connect PNG Economic Infrastructure Program . I have procured and completed Seven (7) major projects valued at PGK990 million which were tendered and undergoing evaluation. Further nine (9) contracts valued at PGK80 million procured and completed due for tender this month. I believed and always encouraged team work; which bring success in delivery of all projects in my years of work with the public sector.

  • Met with the Provincial Administrators, Governors and Members of Parliament to partner and share resources to attend to emergency projects.
  • Met with the Provincial Works Managers and Civil Engineers; emphasized on building good working environment and capacity building.
  • Met with the TSSP PMC and World Bank PMS to ensure support is given to the DoW engineers and help build capacity in the provinces and also provide mentoring and advisory roles to the young engineers.
  • Developed reporting templates for the provincial works managers to use in reporting to the Regional Works manager; Weekly Situation and Monthly Report templates.
  • Develop reporting template for the RWM to use to report to the Deputy Secretary (Operations).
  • Coordinated the PWMs to complete District Roads Inventories.
  • Coordinated the PWMs to resolve some contractual issues on long overdue projects.
  • Assist Acting First Assistant Secretary for Design Services Division to review draft Low Volume Rural Roads Standards (LVRR) for second draft.
