This position reports to the Senior Policy research officer and at times to Director Corporate Planning, of the Policy and Planning Division
My duties include: Policy Analysis- evaluate existing policies, identify areas of improvement, and provide recommendations for review
Data collection and analysis- collection and analysis of data relevant to policing activities, to monitor performance and assess outcomes
Policy research and development- research and development of new policies and framework that align with RPNGC strategic objectives and emerging challenges
Continuous improvement and learning- identify areas of improvement where policies can be better enhanced to suit emerging trends
Provide support/assistance to SPEC (Secretariat of Police Executive Committee) in policy related matters
Perform other duties as directed.
