This would in turn enable me to achieve my personal goals and objectives. My strategy is to ensure that I put to good use these acquired competencies by training, developing, coaching and mentoring junior staffs within the organization. This is with an intent to equip them so that they are continuously productive, are effective and efficient in the delivery of their job responsibilities.

Recruitment & Selection Officer - Contract

1.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.1Prepare internal and external advertisements of contract positions by liaising with divisions to confirm vacancies derived from the staff establishment record, confirm if vacancies are funded and seek approval from the divisional head and the Secretary to advertised.

1.2 Ensure external advertisements are put out promptly by liaising divisional administration staff to secure funding and submit payment requisition forms to accounts sections to process payments to print media companies.

1.3 Advise applicants by preparing acknowledgement letters, notices to successful and unsuccessful applicants.

1.4 Prepare applicants files for selection panels by culling/rejects applicants not meeting requirements and creating each applicant file contain documentation.

1.5 Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure recruitment and selection processes and decisions are consistent with the Recruitment policy & General Order.

1.6 Facilitate the recruitment of casual employees by liaising with divisions, prepare a shot list of applicants and conduct an impartial selection process.

1.7 Maintain accurate records by keeping all hard copy recruitment files for contract positions for at least a year before destroying and all committee decision files are to be maintained and transfer to archives.

1.8 Facilitate the post counseling meetings by being the contract person to arrange meetings between the applicants for contract positions and branch heads or an applicant’s preferred officer.

1.9 Maintain work performance in the branch and division by assisting other officers to complete other tasks when required.

1.10 Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Principles and value of Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Wisdom, and Responsibilities in programs. Activities and Initiatives to foster positive work ethics.

2. MAJOR DUTIES

2.1 Coordinate and supervise recruitment and selection exercise for contract positions both externally and internally.

2.2 Liaise and confirm with divisions job vacancies.

2.3 Liaise and secure funding for advertisement and process payments to print media companies.

Site (Operations) Manager

· Overseeing Operation on day to day basics conducted in the field of Catering, Warehouse, Camp Services, Administration, and Travels & Accommodation Departments. Ensure work is done safely, on time, within the budget and to right quality standards.

· Perform Procurement for site and expediting of Orders

· Perform HR related duties in recruiting of national and local hires, Appraisal for staffs

· Prepare and collect timesheet for staffs, do calculation and forward to payroll for processing.

· Assist to conduct interviews prior to promotion, disciplinary action or termination.

· Represent management and liaise with staffs and supervisors to investigate and resolve grievances

· Prepare reports and take action according to grievances, arbitration, mediations and related labor relations activities to identify problem area

· Provide coverage on site for safety and Food safety

· Analyze various reports (For Client WGJV and NCS) and make recommendations at the End of Months to client and NCS Operation Manager (Warren Scott)

· Administer all office work and assist staff with their queries and ensure it is being attended accordingly.

· Compile Weekly Reports and submit to Client (WGJV) Operation Manager and NCS Operation Manager.

· Compile End of Month Reports for both WGJV and NCS and send to respective Operation Managers.

· Coordinate and plan the company’s staffing schedules and personnel roster.

· Oversee the recruitment and training of the company’s personnel in accordance with the company’s policies.

· Generally, provide services whether of a technical, financial, accounting, managerial or secretarial nature to company as it may require.

· Verify adherence to terms of labor contract by monitoring day to day implementation of policies concerning wages, hours and working conditions.

· Attend general meetings/ trainings on behalf of NCS Wafi Team.

· Do Weekly report and forward to Project Manager.

· Assist stock count, inventories after stock count.

· End of Month Stock Take Report.

Administration Officer

· Compile weekly Monday/GSR for client approvals before sending to Lae Accounts for billing

· Compile Monthly Monday/GSR report for clients to approve before sending to Lae Accounts for billing

· Perform Costing’s for Goods Services & Receivable (GSR) from other Departments

· Site Safety Rep Conducting Weekly Safety Inspection and compile Safety Report before sending to Safety Team in NCS Lae.

· Ability to work independently without much Supervision and as a team member with excellent communication to accomplish tasks and achieve results.

· Keep Interpersonal Relations with colleagues, relate and communicate with people of all nationalities and ethnicity.
