

As a Laboratory Technician, I report to the shift chemist and or the shift supervisor. My role covers mostly bench work like assay preaparation and analysis, equipment checks and maintainace and adherence to safety systems and work environment. Some of these include:
My role as Inspector facilitated the custody transfer of product from seller to buyer. I do shore-tank gauging, stop dip calculations and quantity and dry certification before and after loading for my clients. This is included:
My duty as a Petroleum chemist covered sampling to preparation, analysis, reporting and inventory for consumables and PPE's. some of the testing included:
My role also sample registration and job creation since LIMS was Analog.
Fire Assay
Proficient with CCLASS Laboratory Information System (LIMS)
Experience with Laboratory SOP/ SWP and techniques
Experience with process industry (Gas/ Oil/ Metals/Minerals)
Well versed within laboratory equipment and use
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline
Experience with ISO 17025 Quality System

Worked flexible hours across night, weekend and holiday shifts
