Officer Commanding of Bravo Company and involves commanding, managing and leading four platoon commanders of company of 120 men. Reporting directly to the Commanding Officer, I have responsibility of managing Combat Engineering assets, servicing, maintenance and training of personnel. Executing the CO's Command Philosophy and Command Guidance. Training would cover four aspects of military engineering which are mobility, counter-mobility, survivability and sustainability. This included international engagement with foreign partners in training either in-country or overseas. Operations for the company included basic security operations and also military engineering operations including military high-risk search, UXO disposal, EOD training on wartime ammunitions dealing or deferral. Basic small arms weapons training and range compatibility.

  • Completed Exercise Pukpuk 2015 with rendering construction and maintenance of Taurama Barracks
  • Successfull delivery of security operations for PNG Games in Morobe in 2016
  • Secured the successful completion and sealing of the Mendi-Tambul Road in 2017
  • Deployed to Middle Ramu as project manager for Aiome Madang Road Project and completed 27km of pilot tracking through dense jungle with limited logistical support
  • Started initial planning for Engineer Battalions 100-men accommodation building. A stand-alone, solar powered and off-grid set-up which in turn became a model for all new accommodation buildings for the PNGDF in 2019
  • Deployed as Contingent 2IC for the first Engineer led overseas deployment to the Australian Bushfires in Omeo, Victoria. Operation Bushfire Assist 2020 was the pinnacle of true friendship between Australia and PNG. This was Kumul Force 17
  • Served as Exchange Instructor to the School of Military Engineering in Holsworthy Barracks, Sydney; from 2021 to 2023. This posting served as a rewarding opportunity to train young ADF Engineers and as well serve as a diplomat in the sphere of the military space.

  • I have a passion for rugby league and rugby union as a small kid growing up. I've played in junior grade to high school and through to college
  • I've driving since I was a kid and probably the influence was from my late father
  • Being a drummer myself, it has been always rewarding and has been my past time hobby ever since I started learning to play the drums
