Since 2012, I experienced working with UNICEF Papua New Guinea Office as the Education Programme Manager. I worked on the Early Childhood Development, Out of School Children Initiative, Disability and Basic Education Programme. I aim to excel and be successful in my field of profession by learning as best as l can in order to enhance my skills and knowledge for the betterment of my future and also to fulfill and achieve the goals and missions of an organization.   • Being effective and efficient in overall Management of Programme Planning, Implementation, Monitoring and Reporting cycle with global, regional and national priorities with United Nations Agencies, UNICEF, Government of PNG, Developmental Partners, Churches, NGOS and schools.
  • Managing Early Childhood Development (ECD), Disability – Inclusive Education, Out of School Children Initiative (OOSCI), and Basic Education Programme with Focal Government Departments (Education, Department of Community Development & Religion, Health and National Planning) Churches and NGOs
  • Ensure timely disbursements and liquidation of funds to Government, Churches and Local NGOs as implementing partners at province and district levels

  • Adhering to Supply Directives as per UNICEF Financial Rules and Regulations policies to ensure that Supply function is carried in efficient, effective and transparent manner

  • In 2013 and 2014 I managed Research Project 1 for Papua New Guinea conducted among 14 countries in in East Asia Pacific on: Validation of Early Childhood Development Scales in East Asia Pacific
  • This Research contributed to Early Learning Development Standards in PNG
  • In 2014 and 2015, I managed Research Project 2 on ECD Facility Survey to assess Minimum Operating Standards (MOS) in ECD Centers in 22 provinces in PNG
  • This Research contributed to Development of MOS and ECD Multi-Sectoral Policy in Autonomous Region of Bougainville and Papua New Guinea
  • Managed study conducted by National Department of Education Evaluation on National Education Structure
  • Findings contribute to NDoE’s contribute to progress in ECD Curriculum, Teacher Training Framework and Course modules developed and ECD pilots on home based to Community based transition to Elementary Schools in Pilot Provinces

  • Trained 124 Elementary trainers and teachers on ECD Research Methodology to conduct two (2) research studies in 2013 and 2014
  • ECD Advocacy and training on Positive Parenting Education through Catholic Church in 4 Dioceses (Madang, Kundiawa, AROB, Milne Bay) in PNG
  • Manage and coordinate workshop on ECD Communication for Development which drew Media personnel, Communication Officers, graphic artists, photographers, and focal government officers, NGOS and Universities (UoG, & DWU) students participated
  • ECD networking ignited through this workshop
  • Mentoring of ECD Programme and research skills with lecturers from University of Goroka, Pacific Adventist University, Papua New Guinea Education Institute, Enga, Madang, Gaulim and Sonoma Teachers Colleges in 2016 and 2017
  • Providing technical support on development of ECD Teacher training Course modules with PNGEI in 2017
  • Conduct ECD Training with 40 Teachers Colleges lecturers on development of ECD and Elementary Teacher Training Framework in 2017
  • Conduct ECD Teacher Training for 3,000 Elementary Teachers, Community and Church based ECD teachers and careers for past 6 years with UNICEF
  • This has been UNICEF's key technical contributions from delivering ECD/E in Papua New Guinea.
  • Now ECD/E is now captured in Medium-Term Development Plan # 4, is also in Education Sector Development Plan after UNICEF’s contribution in having ECE Policy, standards, curriculum, teacher training courses institutionalized and in 2023 and going forward, no more elementary schools, it is transitioned into Junior Primary
  • Preschool education is consisted of Kindergarten 1 and kindergarten 2 with Preparatory class which is aged 6.
