Portfolio administration

• by ensuring all investment proposals are executed and reported accurately and in a timely fashion
• Facilitating investment transition across the Investment Portfolio that will include liaising with internal and external parties
• Facilitating FX deals settlement/ Purchase by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting to ensure holdings are accurate, including regular audit of titles and holdings statement by monitoring and maintaining of investment records as part of the department's data management efforts
• Ensuring strict compliance with relevant legislations and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures
• Supporting efforts to ensure that the Investment Portfolio is accurately valued at all times
• Assisting with general duties for the Investment Committee meetings and/or the Trustee Board as and when required
• Updating different asset class models to capture new purchases of T-bill, TD & GIS, change in price / FX for offshore Funds and domestic listed equities, and change in value through sale or buy of shares for both onshore and offshore shares
• Analysing cash projection and T-bill model and provide proposed T-bil, GIS or TD placements for the week
• Assisting the Primary Analyst-Offshore to rebalance the Funds (Nambawan Super Limited) offshore investments to align with the funds SAA which resulted in the Fund achieving better returns

Investement Manangement System - Project

I supported and assisted the project lead - Noelyne Togs in implementing the first Investment Management System in PNG by performing the following tasks;

• Data cleansing for transactions / valuations under different asset classes
• Maintaining models for different asset classes by confirming and updating trades (sell/ buy for offshore & onshore) and valuation change daily & monthly in its respective models.
• Building Portfolio and Performance monthly reports for comparison purposes

Research and Analytics

• Attend AGM's for responsible assets.
• update team on any new infromation for responsible assets
• Update Financial model with updated financial reports for responsible assets.

• Attending to members over the counter queries and responding to complaint letters from the members regarding their Superannuation payment

• Working on Data dumps to create a clear outlook on the fund members and their contributions

• Tutored with the University of Papua New Guinea under the School of Business and Public Policy as a Public Policy Management Tutor

• Participated in a two-week project with the Australian Awards PNG under their Monitoring and Evaluation Section collecting and analyzing data for Alumni Development Impact Survey
